Alex Vetrov born 1968. Studied LMA 

The paintings are made in the technique of “I have a lot of paint.” 🙂 The paint is applied in thick layers on the canvas. Several shades of gold paint are used.

Pop Art through the eyes of an illustrator. The series of paintings “Gods” depicts Hindu gods and Buddha. In the series “We’ve Seen This Somewhere Before,” the paintings reference famous artworks from the past—a new play with old meanings.
